Arrests and Raids in the Occupied West Bank Cities

Israeli occupation forces arrested on Friday dawn two Palestinian citizens , closed a shop, and wounded a number of Palestinians in clashes in the West Bank.

Palestinian sources said that the occupation carried out searches in the town of Salwad in Ramallah, including the arrest of Sheikh Bassam Hammad, the father of the martyr Anas and the father of captive wounded Tkwa Hammad.

In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Mujahid Majd Amarneh, 16, after breaking into the town ,and raiding and searching his family’s house.

The Israeli occupation forces closed a supermarket in the town of Beit Jala for allegedly selling fireworks to young men to use them in confrontations against Israeli soldiers.

In the same context, on Friday dawn, a number of Palestinian youths were suffocated during clashes in the town of Beit Ummar, Hebron.

The clashes broke out in the center of the town ,whereas the Israeli occupation soldiers took over the houses of citizens and fired poison gas and sound at the youths who threw stones and empty bottles in the vicinity of the Great Mosque of Beit Ummar, causing a number of citizens with suffocation cases treated by the Red Crescent ambulance crews.

Three ambulances officers  were also suffocated while they were in the ambulance and emergency center in Qalqilya; in addition, a civilian was shot by rubber-coated metal bullets during the Israeli occupation raiding the city and searching several houses.
