Report: 5 civilians killed in 21 Saudi American airstrikes over Tuesday

Five Yemeni civilians were killed while five others sustained serious wounds when the Saud-led coalition launched 21 airstrikes on several governorates in Yemen during the past 24 hours, officials and medics reported on Wednesday. 

In Sana’a governorate, five civilians were killed and two injured in four Saudi airstrikes that hit a government complex in Bait-Maran of Arahab district.

In the northern governorate of Saada, a child was injured after an international banned cluster bomb was dropped by a Saudi-led coalition warplane on Bani-Ma’en area of Razeh bordering district.

To continue with Saada, a civilian was injured when a Saudi American airstrike hit Hafsain area based in Suhar district.

In Suhar district, an airstrike hit Alaf valley, while in Kutaf district, the Saudi-UAE warplanes launched an air strike on Shajea area, four airstrikes on Boqea area and three airstrikes on Qahzah area.

Meanwhile, a civilian was seriously injured when the Saudi-led coalition conducted a missile and artillery bombardment on Shada bordering district, leading to damage inflicted by residents’ material properties.

Furthermore, Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeted several areas of Razeh, Munabah and Ghamer bordering districts.

In Taiz governorate, the US-backed warplanes waged an air strike on Hail hill, and another one on Salal hill in Salh district.

In Jahmalia area, the fighter jets of the Saudi-led coalition launched an air strike.

In the Red Sea port city of Hudayda, 3 Saudi American airstrikes rocked Luhaia district and an additional airstrike hit east of Qutaba area of Khukha district.
