The poorest country in the Middle East, Yemen, has been constantly bombed by the region’s richest country Saudi Arabia for nearly three years since the Kingdom first initiated its military campaign on March 26 of 2015.

The daily bombardment led to the worst humanitarian catastrophe in the world as well as an unprecedented outbreak of diseases such as cholera.

According to local Yemeni reports, the Saudi regime and its allies have included hospitals, schools, homes, factories, local markets, universities, bridges, farms and roads in their military targets.

The Saudi-led coalition, backed by the US and UK, has also been imposing an air, sea and land siege on the country, preventing the entry of essential life requirements like medical supplies. Moreover, the siege has consequently led to millions in need of humanitarian aid.

Despite the horrific results of the Saudi war on Yemen, the Kingdom continues to take advantage of the international silence and retains its position although it has achieved no goals it has earlier announced.

To begin with Saada governorate, northern Yemen, a woman lost her life following the attack of two Saudi artillery shells on different areas in Razih border district while a number of other citizens sustained injuries. One child was injured by a Saudi rocket attack on al-Sheikh area in Monabah border district, and a woman also got wounded by rocket and artillery shelling targeting various areas of Shada border district.

As Saada remains one of the most attacked Yemeni governorates by the Saudi warplanes, Saudi rocket and artillery shelling also damaged a health unit as well as the homes and property of citizens in the districts of Razih and Shada.

Moreover, the Saudi-led coalition launched five raids on Al Azhour and Al-Hijla areas and five raids on Qad district in Razih border district, in addition to two more raids striking Al-Malahit area in Al-Dhaher district.

It does not end here in Saada for more assaults took place against a home and a farm in Al-Zamah region in Baqim border district.

Furthermore, two raids hit the border district of Shada, while three more raids rocked Al-Fara region in Ketaf district.

Going to coastal Hodeidah governorate, western Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition conducted a raid on Hodeidah International Airport and a raid on a main road in Mansouriya district.

Heading to Taiz governorate, central Yemen, an air raid hit Al-Tazia district.

In Marib governorate, the US-backed coalition fighter jets waged an airstrike on Serwah district.

Finally ending the series of raids, an airstrike was launched on Al-Tala position based in Saudi Najran governorate, a home for battles between the Saudi-paid militias and the Yemeni Army and Ansarullah preventing the former from reaching the capital Sana’a.

A Saudi-led war began against Yemen on March 26 of 2015, in an attempt to reinstall a Saudi-friendly president, Hadi. Hadi was ousted by the Ansarullah revolutionaries, who enjoy wide public support, and that is when they took control over the country’s affairs with an aim of eliminating foreign intervention or influence over Yemen.
