Mass Rally on Anniversary of President Al-Sammad Martyrdom, Sana’a

A mass rally was held in the capital Sana’a on Friday afternoon to commemorate the first anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad, who has been assassinated on April 19 during visiting the western province of Hodeidah.

The participants carried flags of the Republic of Yemen, pictures of the martyr Saleh Al-Sammad, anti-banners of American policy in the region and banners condemning the crime of the Saudi-led coalition that assassinated the martyr.

The demonstrators chanted slogans such as,” Yemeni people are more stead fastened than what they were before Sammad killing” and “people of Yemen  will continue the path of freedom and will never surrender”.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Professor Abdul Salam Shahool, delivered a speech in which he stressed that Yemen will continue the path of faith in the building of the modern state, which was laid by the martyr in his life.
He pointed out that the assassination of the President is a clear violation of all international laws, noting that Yemen will not abandon the pursuit of all those who participated in the assassination, including the United States of America.

Sultan al-Same’i, a member of the Supreme Political Council, delivered a speech in which he said that the martyr President Al-Sammad has launched his project ” A hand builds the other protects ” that we will apply, pointing out that the martyred president had led the political council efficiently.
