Violence erupts in Yemeni city aftr US-Saudi-led coalition arresting journalists

The US-Saudi-led coalition , represented by the United Arab Emirates and the security services of the government of the fugitivePresident Hadi in Aden, continue to tighten their grip on journalists and media people who oppose their policies. The security authorities  on Monday arrested the journalist Fathi Ben Lazk, editor-in-chief of Aden al-Ghad newspaper.


Southern journalist Firas al-Yafa’i, the head of Al-Haqiqa Media Foundation, condemned the arrest of Fathi Ben Lazar, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Aden Al-Ghad, who was arrested on a surprise visit by a security crew and twas aken to an unknown destination.


Al-Yafei said in a statement that “the arrest of the journalist Fathi Ben-Lazar comes as part of a systematic policy of arresting and abusing journalists, as part of a campaign against journalists and their institutions in an attempt to conceal the truth and abide by the principles of freedoms guaranteed by international conventions.

 

The network of lawyers against corruption denounced the barbaric act by a security force on Monday, which  arrested the journalist Ben Lazark near the Caltex tour in the Directorate of Mansoura.

Aden city, which was occupied by UK but now under the control of UAE, and the rest of the southern cities witnessed an insecurity situation that increased the assassinations of Imams of mosques and security and military leaderships

The province of Aden witnesses a security fiasco that escalated with killings, looting issues , in addition to others that never happened before.

The UAE took control of Aden under the pretext of confronting the so –called “Houthis” Yemeni army and supported the establishment and formation of armed elements there.
