Cuban Foreign Minister: Blocking Over One Million Vaccines for Gaza Is a New Israeli Crime

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez condemned Israel’s decision to block the entry of vaccines into the Gaza Strip, describing it as another atrocity added to the long list of ongoing crimes committed against the Palestinian people.

In a post on the platform X (formerly Twitter), Rodríguez stated that over one million vaccine doses were denied entry to Gaza as part of an immunization campaign — a blatant violation of basic human rights.
He added that this act represents yet another example of the continuous atrocities perpetrated by the Israeli regime against Palestinians.

The Cuban minister emphasized the necessity for Israel to comply with the conditions stipulated in the ceasefire agreement and called for the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
He warned that the continuation of such policies constitutes an assault on the lives of civilians and on their right to health and human dignity.

These remarks once again highlight that Israeli aggression extends beyond bombing and displacement to include the systematic deprivation of Palestinians from essential means of survival, including basic healthcare.
Rodríguez urged the international community to act urgently to stop these crimes and protect civilians in Gaza.
