Hamas: Demolition Crimes in Jerusalem Mark a Dangerous Escalation Requiring Action from the Islamic Nation

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ continued demolition of Palestinian homes in Jerusalem, describing it as a new war crime within the ongoing series of violations against the holy city and its steadfast inhabitants.
The movement said that these actions form part of a systematic Judaization plan aimed at erasing the city’s Arab and Islamic identity.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Hamas affirmed that the demolition and displacement campaigns constitute a policy of forced expulsion pursued by the Israeli government as part of its criminal settlement project to empty Jerusalem of its residents and alter its religious and historical character.
The movement stressed that such policies will never succeed in breaking the will or resilience of the Palestinian people.

A Dangerous Escalation in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa

Hamas warned of the dangerous escalation in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which has witnessed growing incursions and continued assaults on worshippers and holy sites.
The movement called for a firm and unified Arab and Islamic stance—both official and popular—to put an end to these crimes and violations.

Hamas urged the Arab and Islamic peoples, along with freedom advocates worldwide, to take urgent and effective action to stop these violations and support the steadfastness of Jerusalem’s residents in the face of ongoing demolition and Judaization policies.
The statement emphasized that silence in the face of such crimes amounts to complicity and a relinquishment of the Muslim nation’s responsibility toward its first Qibla.

Call for Resistance and Accountability

The movement underscored the need to strengthen steadfastness and popular resistance in Jerusalem and to escalate all forms of confrontation to deter the occupation.
Hamas affirmed that the Israeli regime bears full responsibility for the consequences of its aggressive policies against Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the city’s steadfast population.

Concluding its statement, Hamas reiterated that Jerusalem will remain Arab and Islamic, impervious to Judaization, and that the will of the resistance will remain a solid barrier against the Zionist project—regardless of the sacrifices required.
