Occupied Provinces Boil Over: The Puppet Government Raises Prices, Shuts Down Ports, and Wounded Mercenaries Lead Public Anger

The provinces under Saudi-Emirati occupation are witnessing a rapid collapse across vital service and living sectors, amid growing public outrage and expanding protests in al-Mahra, Taiz, and Marib. The discontent stems from reckless policies pursued by the mercenary government under the direct sponsorship of the aggressor coalition.
Decisions to close seaports, increase customs tariffs, halt salary payments, and the spread of corruption and looting have turned daily life into unbearable suffering, while the occupation’s proxies ignore the cries of the hungry and oppressed.

Al-Mahra Rejects Subjugation: Occupation Policies Cripple the Local Economy

In the eastern governorate of al-Mahra, residents have condemned the so-called “Presidential Council” for ordering the closure of the vital Nishtun Port, describing it as an aggressive move aimed at strangling the people’s livelihood.
The Peaceful Sit-in Committee of al-Mahra, chaired by Sheikh Ali Salem al-Harizi, stated that such decisions, imposed by the “hotel government” under Saudi-Emirati pressure, represent a systematic suffocation policy designed to force the province into submission after the occupation failed to gain full control.

Sheikh al-Harizi stressed that al-Mahra had enjoyed relative stability and functioning services before the arrival of foreign forces in 2017—when electricity ran and salaries were regularly paid—before the Saudi-Emirati-British occupation forces turned it into a military and commercial zone serving their own agendas in the Arabian Sea.
He added: “Al-Mahra is now paying the price for its patriotic stance rejecting foreign domination, but it will remain, as Yemenis have always known it, a land of peace, security, and sovereignty.”

Catastrophic Economic Decisions Tighten the Noose on Citizens

The Sit-in Committee held the mercenary government responsible for the worsening living conditions, noting that the closure of Nishtun Port and the increase of customs duties at land crossings such as Shahn and Sarfit have paralyzed trade activity and caused sharp rises in food prices and transportation costs.
Local merchants confirm that imports have nearly come to a halt since the closure, as the occupation authorities seek to force traders to use ports under their direct control in Hadramout and Aden—part of a broader plan to swallow al-Mahra’s resources and subjugate it economically.

The Occupation Deepens Hunger While Mercenaries Fight Over Scraps

The decision by traitor Rashad al-Alimi to close newly established ports in early November has only deepened people’s suffering and exposed the false claims of “financial and economic reforms.”
While prices soar and goods pile up at ports, the “hotel government” busies itself with dividing oil revenues and devouring what remains of public funds, amid a complete collapse of basic services in electricity, water, and health.

Observers note that these policies represent another face of the ongoing aggression against Yemen: after failing militarily, the occupiers now seek to subdue the southern regions through economic warfare and deliberate starvation to silence any free voice demanding national sovereignty.

Wounded Mercenaries Cry Out in Neglect: Anger Grows in Taiz and Marib

In a stark reflection of the mercenary government’s moral collapse, Taiz—under the control of the “Islah” militia—has witnessed angry demonstrations by dozens of coalition-aligned wounded fighters protesting neglect and the suspension of their dues for months.
During one protest, a wounded fighter burned his prosthetic leg in a shocking act of despair, symbolizing the extent of humiliation and neglect they face while the so-called authorities remain indifferent.

In Marib, dozens of wounded continue their open sit-in for the fourth consecutive day, protesting delayed salaries and denial of medical care, amid deliberate indifference from coalition-affiliated military leaders.

The Southern Scene: Rising Tension and an Approaching Explosion

Mounting economic and social crises—along with rampant insecurity—have pushed the occupied provinces to the brink of a large-scale popular explosion that could sweep away the occupiers and their collaborators.
The people of al-Mahra, Aden, Taiz, and Shabwah now realize that liberation lies in reclaiming national decision-making from the occupiers’ hands, as the “hotel government” serves merely as a tool for the American-Saudi-Emirati alliance to plunder wealth and humiliate the people.

A Nation Strangled by Starvation and Corruption Policies

What is unfolding today in the occupied provinces is the inevitable result of foreign domination and its instruments: the absence of a functioning state, the rise of armed gangs, and the suffocation of citizens through hunger and corruption.
