In Pictures: 5 Children Killed by Rebel Rocket Attack in West Aleppo

Five children were killed by mortar shells waged from rebel-held areas, which landed in a school building inhabited with internally displaced people.

The targeted facility, located in the 3000 Apartment project, is home for hundreds of families who fled the battles fought in various front-lines, particularly the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Casualties from rebel rocket attacks in Aleppo have significantly decreased after the government forces expelled the rebels and retook control of all of the formerly insurgents-held eastern parts of the city last December.
