A Woman Killed, a Child Injured in Saudi Airstrike on Sana’a

A woman killed and a child wounded on Friday by airstrikes waged by the Saudi-led coalition on northern Yemeni capital city, Sana’a.

The two citizens were killed after the Saudi airstrike hit a house owned by Wadhah Satrah in Bani Harith district, northern capital, Yemeni Almasirah channel reported.

The channel also reported that seven airstrikes targeted the region of  Mazara’a Alzendani since midnight until today morning.

The Saudi-led coalition has been escalating its airstrikes in its third year of operation in Yemen, where it caused the death of four citizens yesterday, including a woman, and the injury of others. The mentioned civilian deaths were a consequence of an air raid that aimed at a local market in Manbah border district, Saada.

In a similar context, eight children and two children were killed, while four others got injured on Wednesday in a Saudi raid that struck a house in the region of Weneyn in Baqim district, Saada. Moreover, two lost their lives and three got wounded after the fighter jets of the coalition bombarded a health center in Mocha, Taiz governorate, central Yemen.

Independent civilian reports confirmed that the outcome of the crimes of the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen since its inception on 26 March 2015 amounted to more than 32700 thousand civilians between dead and wounded, including 9105 women and children.
