People of Hodeidah Declare General Mobilization Against Saudi War

The sheikhs and dignitaries of the province of Hodeidah declared on Sunday general mobilization and full preparedness to confront the Saudi-led coalition and its plots of occupying Yemeni coasts, including Hodeidah’s port.

People of Tahama district in Hodeidah confirmed in a large meeting held today that they will defend their coasts and would be in the front-lines to do so, Yemeni Almasirah channel reported.

“Tribes of Hodeidah province as well as all of its sons, its political and social forces refuse to be the model we see today in Aden, southern Yemen, in addition to some of Taiz regions and other southern governorates under Saudi occupation”, says the released statement seen by YemenExtra.

The districts of Hodeidah have been witnessing a popular movement against the war waged by the 10-country Saudi-led coalition and its aims of having Yemeni coasts under its control.
