Syria Hits Storehouse Storing Chemical Weapons Being Transported to Iraq

Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov stated  that Syrian warplanes  have conducted an airstrike near the town of Khan Shaykhun in Syria’s Idlib province on the storehouse  of terrorists’ ammunition and the mass of military equipment, where chemical weapons’ ammunition had also been stored and transported  to Iraq.

Konashenkov confirmed  that from this storehouse , chemical weapons’ ammunition was transported  to Iraq by militants.

Konashenkov added that there were workshops for making  bombs, filled  with poisonous substances, on the territory of this storehouse . He noted that these munitions with toxic substances were also used by militants in Syria’s Aleppo.
