Yemeni Women Demonstrate for Their Captives in Fornt of UN

A number of Yemeni families that have family members captivated by the Saudi-led coalition held a demonstration under the title “We will not forget about our captives” in front of the UN building.

The women of Yemen demanded the return of their loved ones kept as prisoners by the Saudi regime, local source for YemenExtra reported.

The photo above displays a mother holding a picture of her son with a caption saying, “Let my son finish his study.”

They also called on the international community, activists and liberals of the world to take an action regarding the file of captives in accordance with international conventions and laws.

In addition, demonstrators confirmed that their taken away family member has been subjected to torture and is deprived of the most basic human rights.

At the end of the demonstration, the Yemeni women accused the countries of the Saudi-led coalition and all the silent international organizations of holding responsibility for what the prisoners are subjected to in the Saudi camps.
