The spokesman of Ansarullah, Mohammad Abdel Salam, stated that there will be no discussion with the United Nations until it provides the most basic human rights to the Yemeni people.

Abdel Salam demands the payment of salaries to state employees after the transfer of the Central Bank to Saudi-controlled Aden city, as well as the reopening of Sana’a International Airport as numerous Yemenis, included wounded ones whom traveled for treatment, remain stranded.

“We are not concerned and are not committed to any discussion with the United Nations, as it has not been able to meet the most basic human rights, such as dealing with the issue of salaries and opening the Sana’a International Airport,” Abdel Salam said on his Twitter post.

He also criticized the inability of the United Nations to fulfill its obligations for the Yemeni people, affirming that there shall be no discussion with its envoy Wald Al-Sheikh, who is currently visiting Sana’a, until the two mentioned requests are implemented as has been promised.
