Dozens of Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Town of Awarta in Nablus

Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa mosque through AL-Magarebah  door on Tuesday morning, while dozens of them stormed the town of Awarta in Nablus to perform Talmudic rituals.

According to the Palestinian Press Agency “Safa,” the media coordinator in the Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, Firas al-Debbs said: 98 extremists and 50 Jewish students stormed Al-Aqsa mosque on several groups , performing provocative rounds in various parts of its courtyards under strict police protection, and received explanations about the “structure”  of the alleged Hikal and its features.

At 11:00 am, the Israeli police closed AL- Mugrabi door after the end of the morning raids.

In a related context, dozens of settlers stormed today the town of Awarta south-east of Nablus, claiming to perform their religious rites in the historic shrines in the town.

According to local sources, dozens of settlers stormed the town under heavy guard from the Israeli patrols and headed towards the area of Maqamat to perform religious rites.

The sources explained that the settlers left the area about an hour after the incursion towards the entrance of the town near the road leading to the settlement “Itamar”.
