Five people killed while attempting to enter Turkey from Syria illegally

Five people were killed, two injured when attempting to cross the border between Turkey and Syria on Wednesday.

According to local reports, a group of people tried to get into Turkish territory from the Syrian border town of Hassaniya Hattiya in northern part of Idlib province.

Having detecting them, Turkish border guards without a second thought opened fire shooting 5 people, including 1 child, and injuring 2 others, a man and his wife.

The 1-year-old child was shot dead along with his father.
