At Least 15 Yemeni Civilians Killed in a New Saudi War Crime in Mocha

At least fifteen Yemeni civilians, all of whom are women and children, lost their lives in an airstrike waged by the Saudi-led coalition on Monday. The air raid struck a citizen’s house in Yakhtal region based in Mocha district, western Taiz governorate, central Yemen.

Yemeni Arabic-speaking channel “Almasirah” reported that the airstrike hit the home of Abduh Ali  Suliman Al-Halbi located in Al-Halibah Auzlah Al-Zahari village, eastern Yakhtal region, Mocha district, creating a new war crime.

Adding to the bloodshed, the warplanes of the US-backed Saudi coalition kept hovering over the scene in an attempt to prevent rescue operations and paramedics, leading to the death of the whole family inside the bombarded house.

After a period of time, corpses of seven children and eight women were were taken out after being buried with their house ‘s rubble and whatever it contained.

The three-year long Saudi war on Yemen has caused the death of more than 10,000 civilians in various Yemeni governorates, according to independent statistics.
