The official spokesman of AnsarAllah in Yemen, Mohammed Abdul Salam, stated that “we congratulate Palestine for the recent heroic operation carried out by three young Palestinian champions in the face of crimes and encroachments of Israeli soldiers and settlers and their frequent invasions of the surroundings of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which resulted in the killing of two Israeli hostile police and seriously wounded a third.

“We salute their bravery in the face of the Israeli hostile forces,” said Abdel Salam in a post on his Facebook page.

Abdel Salam also expressed that the operation was the normal and humanitarian response to the brutality of the Israeli occupation, and represents the position of the Palestinian people; rejecting any settlement projects at the expense of its just cause.

Abdel Salam denounced the declaration of the Zionist authorities regarding its closure of Al-Aqsa mosque, considering that this crime shall be added to the recorded list of crimes by history.

He explains that the Israeli invasion is not only a threat to Palestinians, but a threat to the security and stability of the region and the world.

Moreover, he reiterated the stance of Yemen and its people alongside the Palestinian people. Additionally, he called upon the peoples of the world “to take their historic responsibilities towards Palestine as a people, land and holy places.”

AnsarAllah’s statement came after three Palestinian youths, from the Jabarin family, conducted an operation on Friday morning and clashed with Zionist Israeli soldiers in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The so-called Israeli securities then closed the Al-Aqsa Mosque completely, and prevented Friday prayers until further notice, according to the spokeswoman of the Israeli police, Luba al-Samri.
