Iran promises to respond to any US breach of the nuclear deal

Iran will respond to any U.S. violation of the nuclear deal, a senior Iranian official stressed on Wednesday, as quoted by IRNA.
“The U.S. measure by Congress and the new law against Iran, Russia and North Korea is clearly a hostile action which Iran will respond to, no doubt,’ Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke to reporters on the sidelines of a national cyber crime congress in Tehran.
The US House of Representatives overwhelmingly voted for a bill of new sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea on Tuesday.
“We have frequently seen such hostile steps by the US Congress and administrations, and this is not specific to the current or former administrations,” he went on.
The new US administration had to verify Iran’s commitment to the nuclear agreement twice in the past six months, since seven reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency have verified Iran’s loyalty.
The US bill which will be sent to the Senate to be approved needs to be signed by the US President Donald Trump to become legislation.
