The head of the Yemeni Supreme Revolutionary Committee of AnsarAllah, Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, called on Doctors Without Borders on Tuesday to convey the tragedy of Yemenis and transfer their suffering due to the ongoing Saudi war, air sea and land siege, prevention of the payment of salaries as well as assisting in the spread of epidemics and diseases by besieging Yemen and targeting medical facilities.

This came during the meeting of the Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee with Pablo Marco, the regional head of the organization, which was on a visit to Yemen to observe the catastrophic situation.

Al-Houthi said that the United Nations should recognize that Yemenis view its role as negative and a partner in the war against them for remaining mostly silent in front of humanitarian violations committed by the Saudi regime and its allies.

He also stressed that Yemenis call upon all the humanitarian organizations to compel the United Nations into putting an end to its current negative role its playing in Yemen, and begin to take some serious actions in order to alleviate the suffering of millions of innocent Yemenis.

On the other hand, al-Houthi praised the positive role played by MSF and called for expanding its work and doubling its efforts in providing medical services.

Furthermore, the regional head of the organization met with a number of officials of the Yemeni Ministry of Health, and discussed with them aspects of cooperation between the two sides.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been once blacklisted by the United Nations for perpetrating war crimes against Yemenis, but was soon removed after the UN faced strong pressure by the Saudi regime.
