Ministry of Aden Officially Closes Schools Starting From Next Sunday

An official at the Ministry of Education that is affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition in Aden province announced on Saturday that schools in Aden will close its doors from next Sunday.
He added that education will not be taught in any school until the Ministry of Education responds to teachers’ demands for an increase in their salaries and their financial arrears as the compromise agreed on have described.
It is noteworthy that the teachers’ union in Aden had announced to start a comprehensive lockout that will start from next Sunday until the Ministry of Education that follows the coalition acts upon the aforementioned requests.
Nevertheless, the Adeni Ministry of Education had showed no interest in what the union has demanded.
