ISIS falls apart in Deir Ezzor, Syrian Army secures much of city

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) scored their biggest advance inside Deir Ezzor City this week, securing two vital districts and the municipal stadium.
Led by the elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army attacked the Ummal and Al-Arfi districts earlier today.
For several hours, the Syrian Army and Daesh (ISIS) clashed at the Ummal and Al-Arfi districts before the former finally breaking through the terrorist group’s defenses.
According to a military source inside Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Army has captured both districts and seized the municipal stadium near of the Old Airport District.
Nearly all of the Old Airport District is encircled by the Syrian Army, leaving only a small outlet for the terrorist group to withdraw.
