Yemen’s President meets Minister of Health to discuss the situation

President Saleh al-Sammad, the head of the Supreme Political Council, discussed  ,on Saturday, with the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Mohammed bin Hafiz, the health conditions in the capital and various governorates.

The meeting touched on the repercussions of  spreading of diseases and epidemics that  are caused by the US-Saudi aggression and siege on Yemen for more than a thousand days.

As they discussed the nature of the medical needs  of  required  medicines, equipment and health supplies to reduce them, especially the cholera epidemic and diphtheria and ways to combat infectious diseases.

In the meeting, they reviewed the difficulties faced by the health situation in light of the aggression and the scarcity of medical stocks and laboratory solutions as a result of deliberating of  aggression  alliance  to prevent the entry them    from the ports of sea, air and land, especially the requirements of patients with kidney failure and drugs of cancer and diabetes and others.

In the meeting, President   affirmed the supporting  of the Supreme Political Council for the health sector, and   for its work and its tasks in order to avoid  the deterioration in health facilities due to the continuation of aggression and targeting of medical facilities and the unjust siege .

Al-Sammad also stressed the need to coordinate efforts and address the problems facing the medical sector
