210 KG of Drugs Seized by Yemen’s Security Guards

Yemen’s Coast Guard seized on Thursday 210 kg of drugs during an attempt to smuggle it across Hodeidah coast, western the country.

The Ministry of Interior, the head of the Coast Guard, General Abdul Razzaq al-Moayad said that the drugs were seized in Khubba, al-Lahiah in the province of Hodeidah, a source reported to YemenExtra.

The source noted that the seizure was after investigations and monitoring drug smugglers, who are trying to sneak drugs across the Yemeni coasts.

The source added that the 210 kg drugs include cocaine and many other drugs, which were hidden in 11 bags, noting that
more details will be revealed about the seizure and the type of drugs as soon as the completion of necessary investigations.
