Minister Al-Shami strongly condemn rape of woman by Sudanese mercenary in Hodeidah

The Spokesman for the Government of National Salvation, Minister of Information, Dhaifallah Al-Shami, on Sunday strongly condemned the rape of a 50-year-old Yemeni woman from the Katabah area in Tuhayta district of Hodeidah province.

The government spokesman said in a statement to the Yemeni news agency, Saba, that a Sudanese mercenary raped the woman Saadah Omar Ahmed Akish and stabbed her several times when trying to defend herself and take it to hospital in an attempt to cover the brutal crime crime, which is in contrary to all religions, traditions and humanitarian charters, affirming that the crime can not go unnoticed.

He reiterated his call to the brotherly Sudanese people to take a clear stance on the involvement of the Sudanese army in the aggression against Yemen and to commit these unprecedented crimes.

The government spokesman pointed out that this heinous crime requires the free and honorable Sudan to continue their Revolution and uprising against the continued remnants of the former regime continuing to participate in the aggression against Yemen.

He pointed out that silence on these crimes is a disgrace to mercenaries who conspire with coalition against their homeland and their people’s honor and dignity.

The government spokesman blamed the Arab and international human rights organizations for the continuation of mercenaries in committing crimes and violations against women in Yemen.

He also stressed that the Yemeni people will respond to this crime and other crimes that targeted their honor and dignity.
