Iran is able to sink US ships with “secret weapons”

General Morteza Qorbani, advisor to the Iranian military leadership, threatened to resort to missiles and “secret weapons” to sink the US warships and aircraft carriers in the waters of the Gulf, the Iranian news agency Mezan reported on Saturday.

“America has decided to send two warships to the region and if they commit less folly, we will sink them to the seabed with their crews and planes using two missiles or two new secret weapons,” Qorbani said.

He added: “America is concerned about our precision missiles capable of hitting aircraft carriers, do not frighten us from the war because we are ready for all circumstances and no sense to talk about the security of the Strait of Hormuz in the case of preventing Iranian oil exports.”

He stressed that “the enemy’s efforts to destabilize Iran’s security will not achieve its objectives, and that the confrontation between America and Iran is crucial because the enemy chooses us between the war and destabilization.”
