Death Toll from Zionist Aggression on Gaza Rises to 55,637 Martyrs

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that 144 martyrs—including four bodies recovered from under the rubble—and 560 injuries have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Zionist aggression on the enclave.

According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, the total death toll has risen to 55,637 martyrs and 129,880 injuries since the beginning of the Israeli assault on October 7, 2023. The ministry also noted that many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble, while ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the continued heavy bombardment.

In the latest updates, the ministry confirmed that since March 18, 2025 alone, 5,334 martyrs and 17,839 injuries have been recorded.

The Zionist aggression on Gaza continues amid international silence, leaving behind hundreds of devastated families and communities suffering under dire humanitarian conditions, in the absence of adequate medical and relief aid.
