Iran: Zionist F-35 fighter jet shot down south of Tehran

Iran announced on Wednesday that its military had shot down an Israeli enemy F-35 fighter jet in an area south of the capital, Tehran.

Hossein Abbasi, the mayor of Varamin, told the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) that the fighter jet crashed and was destroyed in the vicinity of Varamin.

Abassi confirmed that security forces had opened an investigation into the incident, but did not provide any information about the fate of the pilot.
