Iran’s Supreme National Security Council: “We Forced the Enemy to Regret and Accept Defeat, and Our Fingers Remain on the Trigger”

The Supreme National Security Council of Iran affirmed that the Iranian Armed Forces remain at the highest state of readiness, their fingers poised on the trigger.

In a statement released moments ago and carried by Iranian news agencies, the Council declared that Iran’s military is prepared to deliver a decisive and deterrent response to any aggression by the enemy.

“We compelled the enemy to regret its actions, accept defeat, and cease its unilateral aggression,” the Council said, noting that the vigilance of the resistance, the ability to choose the right moment, and the solidarity and unity of the Iranian people have foiled the enemy’s main strategy.

This statement by the Supreme National Security Council was issued in reaction to Tehran’s announcement of a ceasefire at 4:00 AM today, in response to Qatari and American mediation efforts calling for an end to the war.

The Council’s declaration comes as the Zionist entity seeks justifications to resume its aggression against the Iranian people after suffering painful blows from Iran at dawn today—just before the ceasefire agreement brokered by President Trump was announced.
