Gaza’s Death Toll Surpasses 57,762… Gaza Remains Resilient Amid Massacres and Destruction

4

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today a tragic escalation in the toll of the Zionist aggression on the Strip, with the death toll reaching 57,762 martyrs and the number of wounded rising to 137,656 since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.

In its statement, the ministry confirmed that 82 martyrs and 247 wounded were admitted to hospitals over the past 24 hours, while rescue teams remain unable to reach many victims still trapped under the rubble due to the immense destruction.

Regarding those killed while earning their daily livelihood, the ministry reported that nine workers lost their lives and 78 were wounded in recent hours—bringing the total number of worker martyrs to 782 and the injured to over 5,179.

Despite the ongoing Israeli onslaught, the Palestinian resistance in Gaza continues to confront this brutal assault, even as civilians endure tremendous hardship under a sustained siege and widespread devastation. Amid the toll of lives and ruins, the Palestinian people remain steadfast in a struggle not only for survival, but for their fundamental rights to freedom and dignity.

These harrowing figures come at a time of growing international silence, even as the occupier persists in committing further atrocities—underscoring the urgent need for immediate international intervention to halt this massacre and protect civilians.
