Relentless Resistance: Palestinian Strikes Escalate in Eastern and Northern Gaza

Palestinian resistance factions continue to launch qualitative strikes against Israeli forces across multiple fronts in Gaza, reaffirming their ability to disrupt enemy operations and inflict losses on troops and armored vehicles. These operations unfold within the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood battle, now in its 22nd month, in direct response to Israel’s genocide in Gaza carried out with U.S. and Western support.

Al-Qassam Brigades Hit Enemy Concentrations in Northern Gaza

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released battlefield footage showing mortar attacks on Israeli troop gatherings and vehicles in northern Gaza. The footage captured enemy movements in Jabalia al-Balad moments before they were directly targeted, resulting in confirmed casualties.

According to Al-Qassam, this action is part of the “David’s Stones” campaign aimed at inflicting sustained losses on invading forces.

IED Strikes and Destruction of Israeli “D9” Bulldozer

In a separate “David’s Stones” operation, Al-Qassam fighters detonated two improvised explosive devices—of the “Ardiyya” and “Shawadh” types—against an Israeli military bulldozer and a dismounted unit in Jabalia.

Video footage showed the remains of a destroyed Israeli D9 bulldozer, followed by mortar fire on the targeted site. This operation came just one day after Al-Qassam struck Israeli positions in Khan Younis, underscoring the widening scope of battlefield engagement.

Heavy Losses Inflicted in al-Zaytoun District

Al-Qassam further announced it had ambushed Israeli forces near the al-Munasara sports field in southern al-Zaytoun. A minefield composed of anti-personnel and anti-armor explosives was detonated, killing and wounding Israeli troops and disabling vehicles.

Fighters observed the evacuation of dead and wounded soldiers under heavy covering fire, a development highlighting the resistance’s ability to continuously drain enemy forces in areas of incursion.

Islamic Jihad Captures Israeli Drone

Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, announced that its fighters seized an Israeli reconnaissance drone east of Gaza City while it was conducting surveillance over al-Shuja’iya.

This operation demonstrates that resistance is countering Israel not only on the ground but also in the technological domain, undermining the enemy’s intelligence tools.

Command Post Bombed in al-Zaytoun

The Al-Quds Brigades also reported shelling an Israeli command and control center located inside al-Furqan School in southeastern al-Zaytoun with mortar rounds. The group stated the strike was part of efforts to target command hubs and disrupt the enemy’s battlefield management.

Al-Aqsa Brigades Shell Enemy Forces in Eastern Gaza

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced mortar fire—60mm shells—on Israeli troop concentrations around Jabal al-Surani east of al-Tuffah. The attack was described as a response to Israel’s continued crimes of killing, starvation, and forced displacement of Gaza’s civilians since October 7, 2023, aided by direct U.S. support and disregard of International Court of Justice rulings.

Tank Destroyed in al-Zaytoun

In a significant strike, the Omar al-Qassim Forces, the armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, detonated a powerful explosive device against an Israeli Merkava tank near Ard al-Barassi in southern al-Zaytoun.

Spokesman Abu Khaled confirmed the tank’s destruction and withdrawal from service, adding that the assault unit returned safely to base. He emphasized the resistance’s ongoing campaign to bleed Israel’s armored corps.

A Sustained War of Attrition

These coordinated operations by Al-Qassam, Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa, and al-Qassim forces demonstrate that the resistance holds battlefield initiative—whether through detonating enemy armor, seizing surveillance assets, or shelling troop concentrations and command sites.

The message is clear: resistance remains fully capable and present, and Gaza will not be broken—no matter how intense the assault or how deep the backing Israel receives from international allies.
