Civil Defense in Gaza Carries Out 33 Operations in 24 Hours

The General Directorate of Civil Defense crews in the Gaza Strip carried out 33 operations over the past 24 hours, despite the ongoing military assaults by the Zionist enemy army as part of its continuing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Strip.

 

In its daily report received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Gaza Civil Defense explained that these operations were conducted across the governorates of the Gaza Strip from Wednesday morning until Thursday morning.

 

The report stated that the operations included: 4 firefighting responses, 1 rescue, 22 medical evacuations, and 6 other missions.

 

In North Gaza Governorate, Civil Defense responded to a house fire near Al-Saftawi junction, extinguished a car fire caused by a Zionist strike on Third Street in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, and transported two patients to Al-Salib Hospital and Al-Helou Hospital.

In Gaza City, Civil Defense inspected a displaced persons’ tent in Sheikh Radwan that had been targeted by the enemy army, extinguished a fire inside the Al-Daghmash family home in Al-Sabra neighborhood, evacuated two wounded from the Al-Kilani family home after it was struck, transported three martyrs killed near Burj Al-Wahda in a Zionist attack, and transferred a patient to Al-Saraya field hospital.

 

In the Central Governorate, Civil Defense transported five patients to Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa Hospitals for treatment.

In southern Gaza, specifically Khan Younis Governorate, Civil Defense evacuated four patients to Nasser Hospital.

In Rafah Governorate, Civil Defense dealt with multiple injuries, including transferring two gunshot victims from outside the Civil Defense center to Al-Salib Hospital, another gunshot victim from the Al-Shakoush area to Al-Salib Hospital, and one from tents on Tiberias Street to Al-Kuwaiti Hospital. They also handled four medical cases, transferring them to Al-Salib and Al-Kuwaiti Hospitals.
