Zionist Genocide Continues in Gaza: Over 219,000 Dead and Injured, Tens of Thousands Starved to Death
For 22 consecutive months, the Zionist enemy has continued its criminal assault on the Gaza Strip, committing an unprecedented act of genocide in modern history. This has been carried out under absolute American and Western support, alongside international silence and UN complicity in the massacre.
Amid the ongoing daily massacres, new dimensions of the humanitarian catastrophe are unfolding. The toll has exceeded 62,000 martyrs and 157,000 wounded, including thousands who perished from starvation under the enemy’s policy of “engineered starvation” against Gaza’s residents.
A Rising Blood Toll
The Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed that as of Thursday, the death toll from the Zionist assault has reached 62,192 martyrs and 157,114 injuries since October 7, 2023. In the past 24 hours alone, 70 martyrs and 356 injuries were reported.
Since March 18 alone, the toll includes 10,646 martyrs and 45,073 injuries, with many more still trapped under rubble and in streets unreachable by rescue teams.
“Gideon’s Carts”: A Documented Massacre
The Gaza Government Media Office condemned the atrocity committed under the enemy’s so-called “Gideon’s Carts” operation, which left 9,073 martyrs and 36,900 wounded, most of them women, children, and the elderly.
A large share of victims fell at so-called “death traps”—distribution centers claimed to offer aid, but instead turned into direct targeting points for starving civilians.
Today’s Victims: Relentless Targeting of Civilians
In new massacres, 10 Palestinians were martyred—including three waiting for aid—and others severely wounded after strikes on multiple areas in Gaza and Khan Younis:
Five members of the al-Astal family were killed by a drone strike northwest of Khan Younis.
Three others perished near an aid center on Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza.
Two civilians were killed in an attack on a gathering in Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the enemy continued demolitions in the neighborhoods of al-Zaytoun, al-Sabra, and Jabalia, leaving further destruction and casualties.
Victims of “Bread and Starvation”
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, the number of martyrs among those waiting for aid has risen to 2,036 killed and 15,064 wounded since the U.S.-Israeli aid mechanism was introduced in May.
Additionally, two new deaths from malnutrition were recorded in recent hours, raising the total famine-related toll to 271 martyrs, including 112 children, amid a deliberate blockade on food, medicine, and fuel.
“Engineered Starvation”: Blocking Aid and Manufacturing Chaos
The Gaza Media Office stressed that the Zionist enemy enforces a policy of “engineered starvation and chaos” by preventing the entry of 85% of humanitarian aid and creating a disorderly environment for looting the small amounts that do enter.
Over 25 days, only 2,187 aid trucks were allowed in—barely 15% of actual needs. More than 430 essential items remain banned, including infant formula and nutritional supplements.
Gaza requires at least 600 aid trucks daily to meet the bare minimum humanitarian needs. The Media Office urged immediate international intervention to open the crossings.
Civil Defense: Saving Lives Amid Bombardment
Despite relentless airstrikes, Gaza’s Civil Defense carried out 33 missions in the past 24 hours, including firefighting, rescue, and evacuation. Teams recovered martyrs, wounded, and patients from under rubble and targeted zones—despite almost no equipment due to siege and destruction.
UN Double Standards: Silence on Gaza, Warnings Elsewhere
While genocide and starvation devastate Gaza, the UN’s World Food Program issued warnings of halting aid to 500,000 refugees in Cameroon due to lack of funds, saying women and children would face hunger within weeks if support was not secured.
This blatant double standard reflects the UN’s selective response—turning a blind eye to Gaza’s extermination while acting swiftly in other crises.
Legendary Steadfastness
Day by day, the blood toll climbs and systematic starvation silently kills Palestinians, while the Zionist war machine commits atrocities under U.S. and Western protection. With international inaction and complicit silence, the people of Gaza confront genocide with their blood and legendary resilience—laying bare before the world the clearest image yet of the crimes of the century and organized state terrorism.
