Sana’a: A Public Call for All Yemenis (Details)
The events organizing committee in the capital, Sana’a, announced today (Sunday) an official and popular call for Yemenis to participate in the solemn funeral procession for Yemen’s martyrs — Prime Minister Mujahid Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahwi and his noble companions — who were martyred in service of the homeland and in defense of its dignity.
The procession will be held tomorrow, Monday, at 9:00 AM at Al-Sha‘b Mosque in the capital Sana’a. The committee said that Yemenis’ attendance will be a message of loyalty and pride for the government’s heroes who sacrificed their lives and blood for the people and the nation.
The committee stressed the importance of broad public participation, describing the crowds’ presence as a tribute to those who gave of themselves in building the country and upholding the values of truth and dignity. It added that all should witness for glory and history how the Yemeni people remain steadfast before aggression and true to their principles and constants.
“We stand before a great occasion to renew our pledge to our righteous martyrs and to recall their immense sacrifices, which will remain a beacon of truth and resistance, and their blood will not be in vain,” the committee said.
