Free Nations Rise: Global Protests in Solidarity with Gaza and Condemnation of Zionist Piracy Against the “Flotilla of Steadfastness”
In a powerful global display of solidarity with Gaza and its people enduring relentless Zionist aggression, mass protests erupted across several European and Moroccan cities denouncing the Israeli attacks on the “Flotilla of Steadfastness” — a humanitarian convoy seeking to break the ongoing siege on the Gaza Strip.
Europe: Streets Cry Out for Gaza
Major European capitals and cities witnessed massive demonstrations.
In London, huge crowds filled Trafalgar Square, condemning the genocide of civilians in Gaza and the detention of activists from the flotilla. British police reportedly arrested several protesters, including elderly participants.
In Spain, the streets of Barcelona saw rallies under the slogan “End the Genocide in Palestine.” In Paris, hundreds marched waving Palestinian flags and demanding an end to military support for Israel and the immediate recognition of the Palestinian state.
Protests also spread to Greece, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, sending a clear message to Western governments: it’s time to stand against Israeli atrocities and stop enabling its war crimes.
Under mounting public pressure, some European states took symbolic steps such as recognizing the State of Palestine or suspending arms exports to the Zionist entity.
Morocco: 105 Demonstrations in 56 Cities
In Morocco, the Moroccan Commission for the Support of the Nation’s Causes organized 105 demonstrations across 56 cities, rejecting the Zionist assault on the flotilla under the slogan:
“No to Trump’s Deal, No to Zionist Piracy Against the Flotilla of Steadfastness.”
Cities including Casablanca, Rabat, Agadir, Berkane, and Oujda saw huge marches expressing unconditional solidarity with Gaza and condemning attempts to seize the flotilla and arrest its activists.
Participants denounced both international and regional complicity with the occupation’s schemes, stressing that the Israeli attack on the flotilla constitutes a war crime, violating international law and exposing the ongoing policy of repression and aggression against Palestinian civilians.
Sustained Public and Official Condemnation
From Europe to North Africa, streets echoed with chants of:
“Freedom for the Flotilla of Steadfastness!”
“No to Zionist Piracy!”
Protesters also rejected direct U.S. support for Israel and its expansionist plans in Gaza, calling for real accountability and justice.
These demonstrations take place amid Israel’s continued siege and war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, which has killed and injured over 238,000 people — mostly women and children — leaving thousands missing and hundreds of thousands displaced amid total devastation and mass forced migration.
One Message: Solidarity with Gaza Endures
From London and Barcelona to Paris and the streets of Morocco, the message was clear:
The voice of the people cannot be silenced.
Global solidarity with Gaza is not a passing gesture but a moral and humanitarian duty.
The Flotilla of Steadfastness has become a universal symbol of dignity and justice, a reminder to all governments and nations that:
Gaza stands firm — and free peoples of the world will never abandon it, no matter the crimes of occupation or the silence of world powers.
