Qalibaf: Iran Supports Any Initiative to End the Genocide in Gaza

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf affirmed that the Islamic Republic supports any initiative accepted by the Palestinian people to end the ongoing genocide in Gaza and halt the aggression, emphasizing that Palestinian steadfastness and resistance have forced the enemy to accept a ceasefire.

Speaking at an open session of the Iranian Parliament, Qalibaf stated:

“Ending the aggression, lifting the blockade, opening the crossings, and allowing the free entry of food, medicine, and essential goods are urgent demands of the Palestinian people — and we stand firmly with them.”

He added that the resistance of Gaza’s people, backed by the Axis of Resistance, has proven that national willpower is stronger than the machinery of war and aggression, and that the Palestinian people can impose their will despite the heavy humanitarian toll.

Qalibaf noted that over the past two years, the Iranian Parliament has worked internationally and coordinated with parliaments across the Islamic world to support the establishment of a lasting ceasefire and the protection of civilians.
He stressed that any renewed attempt to resume aggression will be met with the unyielding resilience of the Palestinian people and their unwavering determination.

Concluding his remarks, Qalibaf said:

“Iran’s support for the Palestinian people is not merely a political stance — it is a message to the world that resistance and steadfastness are stronger than any Israeli or American scheme. No matter how long aggression continues, it will ultimately be defeated by the will of the free.”
