Religious Scholar Muftah: The Martyrs Are Beacons for Generations and Symbols of Heroism and Loyalty

The Acting Prime Minister, Scholar Muhammad Muftah, affirmed on Wednesday that the martyrs are symbols of loyalty and heroism, and the embodiment of great sacrifices in confronting the U.S.–Saudi–UAE and Zionist-American aggression. He emphasized that the blood of the martyrs illuminates the path of freedom and independence for the Yemeni people.

This came during a ceremonial event honoring the families of martyrs from the Office of the Prime Minister, held on the occasion of the Annual Martyr Anniversary 1447 AH, in the presence of the Acting Director of the Office, Fahd Al-Ezzi, former Minister of Justice Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, senior administrative officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, and relatives of the martyrs.

Muftah pointed out that the participation of government employees in confronting the aggressors reflects a deep-rooted faith and a strong sense of national responsibility toward their homeland and its right to freedom and independence.
He added that the sacrifices made by public service members will remain a shining mark in the pages of Yemen’s honorable jihadist history, praying to Almighty God to grant the martyrs the highest ranks in Paradise.

The event included visits to the tombs of the martyred President Saleh Al-Sammad, the martyred Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Rahwi, and the martyred Mujahid Major General Muhammad Al-Ghamari, where wreaths were laid and Al-Fatihah was recited for their souls.
Attendees also toured photo exhibitions documenting the martyrs’ sacrifices across various state institutions and visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery on Fiftieth Street in the capital, reciting Al-Fatihah and praying for their pure souls.

The Acting Prime Minister stressed that Yemen’s continued reverence and pride for its martyrs is the true guarantee for sustaining the nation’s defense and upholding the word of God.
He concluded that the martyrs’ blood will forever serve as a guiding light for future generations in resisting every aggressor and oppressor.
