November 6: A Bloody Chapter in the Archive of U.S.-Saudi-UAE Aggression Crimes Against the Yemeni People

The sixth of November remains etched in the collective memory of Yemenis as a dark and bloody day in the record of the U.S.-Saudi-Emirati aggression—a day on which new chapters of atrocities continue to unfold.
On this date, year after year, the aggression’s airstrikes and bombardments have targeted markets, homes, farms, and roads, turning towns and villages across Yemen into grim scenes of blood and destruction. Since the beginning of the war in March 2015, November 6 has never passed without witnessing yet another tragedy—from Saada in the north to Hudaydah in the west and Ma’rib in the east.

2015: Markets and Civilian Homes Targeted

On November 6, 2015, the aggression’s warplanes bombed a public market and a citizen’s home in Yasnim, Baqim District, Saada, wounding two women. Another man was injured when three airstrikes targeted the entrance of Hiran District in Hajjah. Even beekeepers were not spared—an airstrike hit a truck carrying beehives in Al-Rabu’, and two other trucks transporting beekeeping tools in Bani Hassan, Abs District, were destroyed.

2016: Destruction of Parks, Farms, and Roads

On November 6, 2016, air raids hit Masura in Nihm District and destroyed Al-Haymah amusement park near Anz Junction in Sana’a. Farms were also targeted in Sirwah and Al-Jazilan (Ma’rib). Seven airstrikes hit Ghalfaqan (Sahar, Saada), two targeted Maran, four struck Asilan (Shabwa), and two more hit Al-Ahram (Damt, Dhale’a).

2017: Strikes on the Capital and Border Villages

On November 6, 2017, Israeli-made warplanes carried out horrific raids on densely populated buildings near the Saudi and Emirati embassies in Al-Safiyah District, Sana’a, causing major damage to surrounding homes and properties. Simultaneous attacks struck Hajjah, Saada, and Hudaydah. Saudi artillery and rocket fire targeted farms and livestock in Al-Na’ashwah (Haiden) and several villages in Razeh and Monabbih, causing heavy losses.

2018: Massacres and Hysterical Bombing of Hudaydah and Saada

That year witnessed some of the most gruesome massacres of the war. Three civilians were killed and two children wounded in a Saudi missile attack on Tilan, Haiden District, while the Al-Ali market in Razeh was obliterated by an airstrike. Areas in Burkan and Al-Qad were hit by dozens of bombs. In Hudaydah, four civilians were martyred and others injured amid frenzied shelling around 7 July area, the Al-Eissi residential complex, and Red Sea Mills.

2019: Brutal Escalation on Ad-Durayhimi and At-Tuhayat

On November 6, 2019, mercenaries of the aggression launched over 80 Katyusha rockets and shells on Ad-Durayhimi City, while shelling Faza and Jabaliyah (At-Tuhayat) with heavy and medium weapons—causing massive damage to civilian homes. Coalition aircraft carried out four airstrikes on Haradh District (Hajjah).

2020: Scattered Raids and Destruction of Farms

In 2020, enemy aircraft returned to bomb Ma’rib, Al-Jawf, and Hudaydah. Eight airstrikes hit Maddghal District and one targeted Rahbah, devastating local farms. Further strikes hit Mazariq and Al-Dhahrah (Khub wa Al-Sha’af, Al-Jawf), and another struck Al-Souh near Najran. In Hudaydah, spy drones launched five air raids on Ad-Durayhimi, Hays, and At-Tuhayat, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling.

2021: Civilian Homes Bombed, New Fortifications Built

On November 6, 2021, a man and his child were killed when an airstrike hit their home in Al-Lujbah (Al-Safra, Saada). In Hudaydah, mercenaries fired 235 artillery shells across several areas, while warplanes launched 30 airstrikes on Ma’rib, concentrated in Sirwah, Majzar, and Al-Juba, causing extensive property damage.

2022: Ongoing Aggression through Spy Drones

By November 6, 2022, enemy reconnaissance aircraft continued their raids on Hays and Al-Jabaliyah (At-Tuhayat, Hudaydah), while mercenary forces built new fortifications and shelled residential neighborhoods with artillery and small arms—a blatant violation of the truce and ceasefire agreements.

New Pages of Steadfastness

For more than eight years, Yemen has written new chapters of steadfastness every November 6—standing firm before the U.S.-Saudi-UAE war machine that spared no home, market, or farm.
Yet despite the immense suffering, the Yemeni people remain deeply rooted in their faith, sovereignty, and revolutionary resolve, determined to resist aggression and break the siege—until justice and freedom prevail.
