Gaza recovers bodies of 20 Palestinian martyrs
Rescue teams recovered the bodies of 20 Palestinian martyrs from the Sheikh Radwan Clinic in Gaza City on Tuesday, after Israeli military vehicles exhumed the graves during their recent incursion into the area.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted rescue teams as saying they were able to reach the site after the Israeli forces withdrew. The bodies were found buried haphazardly within the clinic’s perimeter, the result of bulldozing and destruction carried out by the Israeli military vehicles.
Wafa indicated that the search continues for more missing persons in the area, given the widespread destruction caused by the recent Israeli incursion.
Earlier on Tuesday, rescue teams recovered the bodies of two martyrs from under the rubble of a house in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the total number of martyrs recovered from under the rubble has reached 529 since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10.
