A Precise Intelligence Strike: Iran Dismantles a U.S.–Israeli Spy Network Planning to Destabilize Internal Security

In a new security achievement that underscores the vigilance of Iranian intelligence agencies amid the ongoing espionage war waged by the United States and Israel, the Islamic Republic of Iran announced on Wednesday the dismantling of a large spy network operating under the direct supervision of U.S. and Israeli intelligence services across several Iranian provinces.
The network was reportedly plotting to undermine the country’s internal stability and security over the coming months.

According to the official Iranian news agency, Kerman’s Public Prosecutor Mehdi Bakhshi revealed that the dismantled cell was part of an anti-national security network coordinated and directed by U.S. and Israeli spy agencies.
The network aimed to weaken Iran’s national security and provoke internal unrest in tandem with mounting Western pressure on Tehran.

Bakhshi explained that the operation followed weeks of precise surveillance and complex intelligence work.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) executed the mission with high professionalism, successfully monitoring the suspects’ movements and tracing their external connections before capturing them.

The prosecutor confirmed that the Israeli intelligence apparatus had been planning to carry out destabilizing sabotage operations during the second half of the autumn season. However, Iranian security forces managed to completely foil the plot after identifying and arresting all network members in a preemptive strike that thwarted Washington and Tel Aviv’s efforts to infiltrate Iran’s internal front.

Strategic Context: The Intelligence War Against Iran

Observers note that this success comes within the broader, long-standing confrontation between Tehran and the U.S.–Israeli axis.
For years, Iran has been the target of an extensive intelligence war designed to disrupt its defensive and scientific capabilities and erode its internal cohesion through espionage and sabotage networks.

Tehran maintains that such foreign infiltration attempts will not deter the country from pursuing independence and sovereignty.
Iranian officials emphasize that the response to these covert operations lies in the firm, methodical counterintelligence and high security awareness demonstrated by the IRGC and other Iranian agencies—entities that have repeatedly succeeded in exposing and neutralizing cells working for Israeli and American intelligence inside the country.

Regional Implications

This development coincides with escalating regional tensions and growing U.S.–Israeli unease over Iran’s expanding influence within the “Axis of Resistance.”
Analysts suggest that Washington and Tel Aviv are increasingly turning to soft intelligence warfare after the failure of direct military options to curb Tehran’s strategic reach and deterrence capabilities.
