Civil Defense: Gaza Flooded in Two Hours, Entire Family Drowned by Heavy Rains

Major Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, announced on Saturday that an entire Palestinian family drowned due to the heavy rains that fell on the Strip, he noted that Gaza City was completely flooded within just two hours of the rainfall.

In a statement to Al Jazeera, Basal warned that Gaza residents will face even more difficult days ahead as the storms intensify, emphasizing that the situation in the Strip is dire and catastrophic.
