Hamas Calls for Pressure on the Israeli Occupation to Stop Its Crimes and Open Gaza Crossings
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on Monday upon Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all free people around the world, to continue mobilizing and exerting pressure on the Israeli occupation and its supporters to end its aggression, lift the blockade, and open humanitarian crossings into the Gaza Strip.
In an official statement, the movement affirmed that the escalating humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza requires urgent action to save civilians and allow the entry of aid, tents, and emergency supplies. It warned of the severe dangers posed by the ongoing crisis, especially with the winter season and heavy rainfall.
Hamas stated that the tragic conditions—two years after the genocide committed by the occupation—include shortages of food, medicine, and clean water, along with the collapse of the healthcare system, threatening the lives of children, women, and all unarmed civilians.
The movement held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for its continuous violations of the ceasefire agreement, the closure of crossings, and the obstruction of humanitarian aid. It called on the guarantor states of the agreement to pressure the occupation to implement the humanitarian protocol, permanently open the Rafah crossing, and ensure the evacuation of patients and the movement of individuals.
Hamas concluded its statement with an urgent appeal to the Arab and Islamic world, as well as global supporters of justice, to continue mass activities and popular mobilization to pressure the occupation and its backers to stop their attacks, lift the blockade, and guarantee the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza.
