From Sana’a to Gaza: Saudi Arabia in Service of a Project to Dominate the Region
Throughout modern history, Saudi Arabia’s role in the region has rarely stemmed from an independent sovereign decision. Instead, it has functioned as a forward arm of the American–Zionist project aimed at reshaping the Middle East to secure the interests of the “Zionist entity” and subjugate regional peoples to Washington’s hegemony. This role is starkly evident today in two key arenas: the war on Yemen and the accelerating normalization with the Zionist enemy—culminating in opening the Islamic holy sites to Israelis at a time when Gaza is being annihilated under bombing and starvation.
A Principal Actor, Not Just a Participant
From the very first moment the war on Yemen began, Saudi Arabia acted as the leader, financier, coordinator, and executor. It was not a partner or supporter—it was the primary instigator: recruiting mercenaries, securing international cover, using its oil wealth to devastate an entire nation, and attempting to impose total guardianship over the Yemeni people. To this day, Riyadh manages conflict in the occupied provinces, backs armed factions, and works to fragment Yemen in a way that serves its geopolitical ambitions and fulfills the agendas of Washington and Tel Aviv.
Military Maneuvers in Service of the “Entity”
Saudi Arabia’s latest military exercises—most notably Red Wave 8—cannot be understood outside the context of the American–Zionist project. The kingdom conducts these operations as part of U.S. Naval Task Force “153,” in a move intended to militarize strategic waterways and encircle anti-hegemony actors—chief among them Yemen, whose Red Sea operations have shaken the Zionist enemy and its protectors. Even Eritrea’s president has warned that the militarization of Yemeni islands in service of foreign powers poses a direct threat to the security of the entire region, underscoring the gravity of Riyadh’s role in this trajectory.
Rapid Normalization
Accelerating indicators show that ties between Riyadh and the Zionist entity have moved far beyond “covert communication” into active security and intelligence cooperation—publicly acknowledged by senior U.S. officials, including Aaron David Miller. Yet the most alarming development lies in the matter of holy sites: allowing Jewish ownership in Mecca and Medina marks an unprecedented shift in modern Islamic history and reveals a deeply dangerous level of Saudi involvement in the normalization project—at a time when genocidal massacres are being committed against Palestinians in Gaza. This behavior exposes a chilling contradiction: a public narrative claiming solidarity with Palestine while simultaneously granting Zionists political and religious legitimacy in the heart of Islam’s holiest cities.
For the Sake of “Greater Israel”
The idea of “Greater Israel” is no longer a mere slogan or political exaggeration. Recently revealed Zionist maps, Netanyahu’s repeated statements, and the messianic rhetoric of Zionist soldiers about the “promised land” extending into the Arabian Peninsula—all place Saudi normalization within a far more dangerous framework than a simple political agreement. It appears as geographic and ideological preparation for a phase of Zionist expansion that extends beyond Palestine into the heart of the peninsula, with Mecca and Medina falling within its strategic and symbolic scope. In this context, Saudi Arabia becomes a pivotal enabler—not a passive bystander—by opening pathways for Zionist infiltration into the region’s sacred and strategic centers.
The Illusion of Power… and the End of Functional Regimes
Riyadh believes that its functional role in serving Washington and Tel Aviv will grant it protection and international legitimacy, and that normalization will safeguard its throne and influence. But it ignores the lessons of history: power built on dependency and service to foreign agendas creates neither security nor legitimacy. No matter how dazzling “Vision 2030” appears with its towers and neon lights, it stands on shifting sands of aggression, normalization, and subservience. Meanwhile, the Axis of Resistance—from Sana’a to Gaza—is writing a new chapter in the region’s history: one that dismantles the myths of artificial power and proves that free peoples ultimately hold the final word.
Out of History
Today, Saudi Arabia rushes toward a project that leaves no place for Arabs, Muslims, or even for itself. With every step it takes in service of Washington and Tel Aviv, it drifts further away from the conscience of the region’s peoples. Yet the steadfastness of Sana’a and the resilience of Gaza—facing annihilation with unbreakable resolve—affirm that the future will be shaped by those who resist, not those who submit, and that regimes that abandon the causes of the Muslim nation will inevitably find themselves outside the course of history.
