PIC: Unprecedented escalation in settlement expansion in WB

The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reported on Tuesday that settlement activity in the occupied West Bank is expanding rapidly, with the number of settlers reaching 770,000, distributed across more than 180 settlements and 265 outposts.

In a statistical report reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the center indicated that the Israeli enemy has added 770 new settlement outposts since the start of the genocide against the Gaza Strip, a figure considered among the highest in recent years.

The center also documented 4,306 attacks carried out by settlers during the same period, resulting in the martyrdom of 36 Palestinians by settler gunfire since the outbreak of the war.

It emphasized that these figures reflect a dangerous acceleration in settlement expansion and land confiscation in the West Bank.
