The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah: Renewing sanctions on Yemen serves the American agenda and will not deter us from supporting Gaza
The Political Bureau of Ansar Allah condemned on Tuesday the renewal of sanctions on Yemen, affirming that the decision represents a continuation of economic aggression and a policy of collective pressure on the Yemeni people, serving as a direct contribution to the American agenda and the coalition of aggression.
In a statement, the Political Bureau said: “At a time when the United Nations claims to be seeking peace, this decision comes as a punishment for Yemen’s active role in supporting Gaza and confronting the Zionist enemy.” The bureau reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance.
The statement warned against the continued work of the panel of experts, whose recent reports it described as full of falsehoods and distortions, noting that sanctions are being used as a cover to escalate military aggression, expand American dominance over regional waters, and bring foreign bases into the area.
The Political Bureau stressed that “the Palestinian people’s right to resist is legitimate and non-negotiable,” expressing regret that some Arab and Islamic countries have aligned themselves with the American position biased in favor of the Zionist entity.
The statement concluded by calling on the international community and the UN Security Council to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the opening of crossings, affirming that Yemen will continue to stand by the Palestinian people in confronting occupation and violence.
