Martyrdom of Palestinian Civilian by Israeli Fire South of Khan Younis

A Palestinian civilian was killed today, Wednesday, after being shot by Israeli occupation forces south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Israeli forces opened fire on a Palestinian man in the Qizan an-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis, leading to his death.

Earlier in the day, medical sources reported that a Palestinian woman and her child were critically wounded after being targeted by an Israeli drone near the “Shireen Abu Akleh” roundabout in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis.

The Government Media Office in Gaza also announced today that 279 Palestinians have been killed in 393 violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The ceasefire in the Gaza Strip went into effect on October 10, following a two-year-long genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation. Despite the agreement, Israeli forces continue to commit daily violations.
