Red Crescent: Half of Gaza’s Population Lives in Tents
Raed al-Nams, spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in the Gaza Strip, confirmed on Sunday that more than half of the Gaza Strip’s population is living in dilapidated tents amidst the current storms.
In a press statement, al-Nams noted that the rains and floods have swept away more than 20,000 tents, resulting in several casualties due to the extreme cold and the collapse of homes, according to Quds Press.
