UNICEF: Malnutrition Remains Major Concern for Pregnant Mothers and Children in Gaza
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) confirmed today that malnutrition continues to be a serious concern for pregnant mothers and young children in the Gaza Strip.
The organization emphasized in a post on X, monitored by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), the urgent need to allow large-scale entry of essential supplies into Gaza to ensure the health and safety of young children.
The Gaza ceasefire agreement came into effect on 10 October following a two-year-long Israeli extermination campaign, yet the Israeli army continues daily violations of the agreement and still prevents the majority of humanitarian aid from reaching the territory.
