Civil Defense in Gaza transfers bodies of 94 Martyrs from al-Sahaba cemetery for burial in martyrs’ cemetery

The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that its teams, in cooperation with local residents, transferred the bodies of 94 Palestinian martyrs who had been previously buried in a makeshift grave on Al-Sahaba Street in central Gaza City during the Israeli offensive.

In a statement, the Civil Defense said that the martyrs’ bodies were handed over to the Forensic Medicine Department at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza for the necessary procedures before being transferred to the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The statement added that its teams, in cooperation with the Ministries of Health and Religious Endowments in the Gaza Strip, have completed the transfer of the bodies of thousands of martyrs who were buried in makeshift graves, some of whom were unidentified, to the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
