Mass Rallies Across Yemen in Support of the Qur’an and in Renewal of Faith-Based Identity
Several Yemeni governorates today witnessed large-scale mass rallies under the slogan “Mobilization and Readiness… In Support of the Qur’an and Palestine,” expressing widespread public anger over repeated insults to the Holy Qur’an and Islamic sanctities. The demonstrations reaffirmed adherence to faith-based identity and the continued steadfast position in support of the Palestinian people in the face of the ongoing Zionist aggression. These rallies came within the framework of a general popular mobilization, in response to religious and moral duty and in rejection of attempts to undermine the constants and sanctities of the Ummah.

Statements issued by the rallies renewed commitment to the path of faith and jihad, steadfastness in the honorable stance of supporting the oppressed Palestinian Muslim people, and full readiness for the next round of confrontation with the enemies. Participants emphasized confronting the schemes of disbelievers and hypocrites targeting the homeland, the people, and the region through mobilization, public preparedness, organizing events, rallies, and sit-ins, and spending in the cause of God until victory is achieved, God willing.
The statement also condemned the “shameful” gas deal concluded by the Egyptian authorities with the Zionist enemy entity, describing it as a reward for the enemy’s crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and called for its immediate cancellation to avoid tarnishing Egypt’s history and its people’s struggle against the criminal Zionist entity.
